Cerro Domo Blanco - Northwest face
1. Filo Norte

Description. Climb to the base of Piergiogio’s west face and then traverse a right leaning ramp to the north ridge.
History. This was the first ascent of the peak. The first ascencionists were part of a big expedition that made the first east to west crossing of the Icecap. Solo and winter ascent. Colin Haley, 9/2013.
Approach. Glaciar Marconi.
Descent. Via the west ridge, to the portezuelo El Cuadrado, between Domo Blanco and Cerro Rincón (one rappel), then via a heavily crevassed glacier to the Marconi glacier.
